Random conversations
It's only with Helena that I can have conversations that start with "back in England they knew how to..." or "you can't get it here...". There's a new bakery at Davie and Denman and when we drove past that today after yoga we got into a conversation about bread and other bakery products in Canada. I don't know why, but I've almost never gotten extremely good bread here - it was quite simple back in Europe, but bread here is just not quite the same.
