Silver Dragon
Today, I listened to the State of the Union speech by the Leader of the Free World:
And we are on the offensive in Iraq, with a clear plan for victory.
I drew my conclusions, and tomorrow I am buying couple of hundred ounces of silver.
And I will hasten my preparations to get some shares in energy companies.
Funny thing I noticed last night while channel surfing. After the state of the union speach was delivered, the Democrats got to "respond". Every channel that carried the Bush speach also carried the response, except for Fox. They showed the simpsons.

I wouldn't be surprised if they showed Simpsons DURING the SOTU speech. :)

Oh no, Fox would never do that. They are the Bush Publicity Channel.

Gareth, I think you mean the regular Fox entertainment channel. Fox News Channel (which is what most people mean when they talk about Fox being pro-Bush) did show the Democratic response. (Which, frankly, wasn't exactly a plus for the Democrats.) Btw, the Simpsons is one of the most anti-Republican shows out there. Probably more effective than Gov. Keane's sorry speech.
