What yoga is for me
Yoga for me is a personal thing. It started out as exercise but has evolved to a more life changing more spiritual thing. It has changed my life because it has allowed me to get to know myself better, it has allowed me to see life's real priorities like relationships and physical well being over career and material things. It keeps me from staying in the office too late, it connects me with my fellow yogis, brings balance and clears anxiety and confusion.
Posted by kolibri at 19 November 17:18, 2005Thanks for sharing...right now, a main reason I do yoga is for the physical aspects and to recover from previous injuries/aches. I hope I will eventually find a deeper meaning in it for myself.

It's interesting because it can give you a baseline for your life. If each day you do the same poses, you learn how those poses treat you and your body. If something is different in your life, it can be felt in a yoga practice. Awareness of this allows you to heal/change it.
Yoga for me is focus training mainly and so much more. It helps my busy adhd brain...
