The light is on...
I've never really done this before, but in the past month or so, I've forgotten my keys home quite a few times. It's really embarrassing - twice I've been lucky enough that Dragon has been home, once he got home within minutes of me looking confused outside our door. Today I also forgot my mobile phone home, so I couldn't even call him when I discovered I was the first one home... and it was only a little past seven so I knew it would be a while still... so I had to ask Gerry our building manager to let me in. Gerry didn't mind and was giggling a little, but I found the whole thing very unpleasant. What's wrong with me, my memory can't be going quite yet.

When leaving home, I use to count four: 1) mobile phone 2) wallet 3) keys 4) spectacles (I can read only cat-size letters witwout them). However, hurry and disturbance may ruin everything...

Especially multi-tasking causes me to become air-headed. I love doing several things at once, but there is after all some kind of limit to how much can be done simultaneously. Sometimes I realize I probably am one of those people who always have to organize everything perfectly on the desk, you know all the papers lined up straight and books stacked neatly etc. Being a perfectionist combined with a desire to get everything done "now" can be difficult to juggle. Oh, and I am a fanatic about keys.
