Blackjack

Here finally, is first of the lilies in bloom. This is an Asiatic lily called Blackjack, and it's absolutely beautiful.

Any chance of you getting a proper camera system to photograph your babies? Or is it possible to adjust your digital pocket camera manually? These lilies would really benefit if the surrounding balcony was more out of focus.

I don't think a proper camera is on the cards, but help with my Ixus 500 would be appreciated. For these photos I use the macro setting - I'm not aware if you can do anything else. Maybe Henri or you would know as you have the same camera at home?
