Lily selection
I had to make the order for those lilies right away. After a lot of planning and consideration, I decided to have four pots in different colours, two on each balcony. So here's what I've chosen:
- Pink pot: Renoir and Royal River - mixed Asiatic and L.A. hybrid lilies, both blooming in July
- Red pot: Blackjack and Lollypop, both Asiatic lilies blooming in June and July
- Orange pot: La center and Cancun, both Asiatic lilies blooming in July
- White pot: Centerfold, Shirley and Snowstorm, all Asiatic lilies blooming from June to August
Ideally of course these lilies would be grown in a garden, but I've had lilies in a pot before so I know with proper maintainance they'll be fine. Now all I just need some patience until I can start pottering.

Judging by the pictures, La Center or Snowstorm might be my favourites, but obviously flowers have to be seen live to really appreciate them.
It's tulip season in Europe. I think I'll go and buy a bunch today :).

Here is finally, is first of the lilies in bloom. This is an Asiatic lily called Blackjack, and it's absolutely beautiful....

Royal River, first one of the pinks is blooming, and that's including the one the one that was vandalised earlier this week. Not as pink as I was hoping - nevertheless beautiful....

And first Cancun was blooming this morning. After Blackjack - that was the stunning dark beauty - this is my second favourite. Amazing colour....

Behind the huge Royal River hybrid lilies, I found this shy little one - the Renoir lily in bloom. I have to say I'm slightly disappointed with my pink choices - they are nice and all, but not stunning...

Probably bloomed yesterday, but I don't open the curtains in the morning when I wake up so I don't disturb Dragon, and Dragon doesn't believe in opening curtains. I like this - it's very bright yellow with very curved...

First of the whites opened today, and it's indeed a snowstorm in the middle of the most beautiful July day. Breathtakingly white....

Another white - this is cream and not pure white like the previous one. I think I prefer the Snowstorm, but only when they are together - I think this would work better alone....
