Doing the man's work
When Dragon is away I get to do all the things he always insists on doing. I've put together the bookshelf and the new computer desk that both arrived today, spending probably almost four hours doing it - especially the desk had lots of really difficult screws that I just about had the strenght to tighten.
Suddenly I see the benefit of him doing it. My back hurts, my fingers are raw and the palm of my hand is sore for gripping the screwdriver for hours. But hey, the study is starting to look like a real room now: instead of boxes full of comics and computer balancing on a stool, there's a proper desk and a shelf.

Without your warning example, I would have eaten all of it, licked the bucket and taken the subway to get me another. Delicious! Wicked! It seems so healthy, yet is quite a heavy snack with all that oil and garlic. Thank you and damn you for introducing this food item in your previous entries.

Well done, darling!
On Saturday, esteemed flatmate and I spent an excessive amount of time to get a lamp attached to the kitchen ceiling. Simply exasperating! I would have given up several times, but thanks to his unique mix of perseverance and stubbornness, there's finally light in the kitchen. Makes life a lot easier, at least for me.
