Mmm... new shoes

This one is for you, Sif darling. Found a pair of burgundy red leather boots on sale from Jones the Bootmaker today, and I just have to show them off.

I love them! And would you believe it, I have a pair almost like them? Same shape, same color, only a bit shorter and with a different decoration on the side. They were my "walking outdoors wedding shoes". And guess what, I have also bougth a new pair of shoes this weekend...Gabor retro 40īs style pumps in black suede, 2" heel, open toe, small bow on top. 50% off by the way.

Tell you what, one of you shoe-priestesses should write a quick dictionary/guide so us shoe-clue-less could understand the differences between nilkkurit, pumps, avokkaat, and the zillions of other shoe-slang terms.

Us unenlightened could then follow even the most intricate shoe discussions. I can repair Kolibri's shoes (as proven yesterday) I'm just not sure what is the correct term to each pair.
